Mega Wedding Planner’s Wedding Blog The Design: The Hearth House Venue
Choosing your Colorado wedding venue can be one of the hardest decisions for your wedding day. Being a wedding planner, Briana’s biggest concern with choosing a venue to marry JR at was that she would feel like she was working, which she did not want. She was in search of a new wedding venue in Colorado that provided a cozy yet modern feel. As Briana’s search for her wedding venue narrowed, she found The Hearth House and immediately fell in love! With the whitewashed brick, the sliding barn doors, the gorgeous two-sided fireplace and grand hearth that surrounds it, and open concept that The Hearth House offers, Briana had found her wedding venue.
Not only did The Hearth House deliver on her immediate desires, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding planner’s wedding was as seamless as it possibly could be.
The Bridal Suite, which is about a block away from The Hearth House, is a charming cabin with a complete kitchen and bathroom inside of it to provide the best experience for the bridal party to get ready in.
When it comes to ceremony and reception, The Hearth House provided ceremony and reception chairs, round dinner tables, beautiful farm tables with benches and stunning marble carts that can be moved around to be used for welcome tables, dessert bars, or even guest book tables!
With The Hearth House being an open concept venue, there is a need to transition from cocktail hour into dinner, especially if it is during winter time where majority or all of the events will be taking place inside. With Briana and JR’s unique “Acts” reception, the barn doors served as a way for the caterers to prepare the next “Act” behind while the guests remained in the main reception room rather than being moved around to a different area for the caterers to prepare.
